This museum is known for being small but PACKED with unique artifacts.  This is truly a one of a kind museum that is a must-see.

Even if you aren’t a war buff, there is something here for everyone.

In the summer months, you can embark on a guided kayak tour at Dewey beach and enjoy a watersport that you may not have tried before.

The Best Beaches of Delaware

Since Delaware is right on the Atlantic, we have some gorgeous, clean beaches.  Check out the Delaware State Parks Adventure Guide. A few of our favorites are:

Dewey Beach

Dewey beach is one of few beaches that’s so clean, it was awarded Superstar Beach Status by the Natural Resources Defense Council.

Handicapped beach chairs are available, so no one needs to be left behind.

They do a regular free family-friendly movie night on the beach from June to August every year, and weekly bonfire where you can bring your own marshmallows and chairs to join in on the community fun.

Also, they regularly have other events on the beach as well, such as yoga, or Chihuahua racing, so keep updated on their events page.

Bethany Beach

Bethany beach also has movies and bonfire on the beach as well as surfing during allotted times.

The town of Bethany beach also offers a regular concert series called Bandstand during the summer months.

Delaware Seashore State Park at Reheboth Beach

Not only can you stay at Seashore State Park in their Campgrounds, but they have events all year long.  They provide everything from bird watching to nature crafts and tours.
